Bespoke Process
This timeline is here to help you understand how my bespoke process works
The initial consultation, quotation and stone search require a minimum of two weeks up to a few months. The production work generally takes 8–12 weeks from the point of deposit. If you’re working to a tighter timeline, do let me know — I’ll always try to accommodate where possible.
Begin the Ideas
Browse my Engagement Ring Guide or Remodelling page and just begin noticing what you’re drawn to, any priority, references or pinterest moodboard would really help. You don’t need all the answers yet. All of this helps me understand what you’re imagining.
Get in Touch (5 working days)
You can either:

Fill in a quote form if you’re already have a clear brief and is familiar with the process, OR

Book an appointment if you’d like to talk things through with me, sometimes it’s simply easier to have a conversation.
If you’re not local, we can meet via online consultation, WhatsApp, or email.
Your initial consultation is complimentary. During this stage, we’ll explore ideas together and I’ll help guide you through what’s possible within your budget. I may show you samples, reference images, or create simple sketches so you can clearly see the direction we’re heading in. If you have your own stones and metal, we can explore ways to incorporate too. There’s no commitment at this stage, it’s about discovery and clarity.
After your consultation (or once I’ve received your completed quote form), I’ll come back to you within 5 working days with a quotation, and often sketches too. Your quote will be valid for 14 days.
Sourcing Stones (3-14 days)
If your project requires a stone search and you'd like to move forward, just let me know, you still don’t need to commit yet. The search will roughly takes 3–14 days, depending on what you’re looking for.
I'll personally hand-select 3-6 stones, carefully inspecting each before presenting them to you in person with another appointment or via detailed photos and videos.
There will be no hidden costs, the only time the price changes is if you request a major design alteration or add additional services such as engraving or resin prints. All price list and T&C will be listed on the invoice.
Once you’ve reviewed the design, quote and stones, you’ll have time to consider everything. When you’re ready to proceed, I’ll send you an invoice with all the details outlined. A 50% deposit is required to secure your chosen stone and allows me to begin your piece.
Start the work (8-12 weeks)
Once your deposit is placed, I begin the making process. Depending on the nature of your design, I’ll work in one of three ways:

CAD model: you’ll receive 3D renders to view the piece from every angle

Silver model: a raw physical version you can try on

Directly into the final piece: often used for remodelling projects
Throughout the process, I’ll share progress updates and invite your feedback, with final approval before moving into casting.
Your model is then moulded and cast in your chosen metal. I clean, assemble, set and hand-finish the piece. For specialist techniques such as setting, engraving and laser work, I collaborate with trusted independent craftspeople. Every piece is designed and made by me and hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office. Some designs may require a fitting, I’ll let you know if your input is needed. Otherwise, you can relax and leave everything in my hands.
Collection
As your piece nears completion, I’ll be in touch to arrange final payment and either:

a collection appointment, or

Insured Special Delivery on your chosen date
For remodelling projects, any unused materials will be fully documented and returned to you.
Before collection or dispatch, I’ll send you photos and a video of your finished piece. These may also be used for marketing, I always handle this sensitively and will never post anything without care.

Resizes (3 - 5 working days)
Once you have proposed, gifted your jewellery and if it still need a resize. Simply book an appointment to claim your first complimentary resizing in Bristol. If you are not local, simply contact Anny to arrange postal resize and remote guidance on sizing.

Check up Services
I offer free cleaning, refinishing and check-ups services to existing customers. Check up dates are listed at the back of your receipt, simply book an appointment when needed. If your jewellery ever takes a knock or you’re worried about a setting, get in touch and I’ll be happy to take a closer look.
