Ethics & Environment

we are committed to continually improving our ethical practice within the trade, from the gemstone, metal to the packaging we use.

Ethical Materials

All my collections are made in recycled gold or silver as standard.  Choosing recycled gold and silver helps reduce the demand for newly mined materials, lowering the environmental impact of each piece.

Wherever possible, I work with ethically sourced gemstones.  Gemstones are carefully selected from trusted suppliers who share my values around transparency and responsible sourcing.  I prioritise suppliers who can provide traceable, conflict-free stones and who uphold fair labour standards.  Diamonds adheres strictly to the Kimberley Process, a guarantee that they are conflict-free.   I prioritise using Melee CanadaMark Diamonds which are 100% traceable.  To find out more about CanadaMark diamonds, please follow the link here.

Please do not hesitate to chat to us to have your piece made with ethically sourced materials.

Made to Last

True sustainability begins with longevity. My jewellery is designed and handcrafted to stand the test of time, not to follow short-lived trends.

By focusing on quality craftsmanship and timeless design, I aim to create pieces that can be worn, loved and passed down through generations.

Remodelling

One of the most meaningful ways to reduce environmental impact is to reuse what we already have.  I offer a bespoke remodelling service, transforming unworn or inherited jewellery and loose gemstones into new, wearable designs. This not only preserves sentimental value but also avoids the need for newly mined materials.  If you're new to remodelling, please have a look at our Remodelling Q&A for 10 most asked questions.

Low-Impact Production

Working on a small, independent scale allows me to keep production thoughtful and intentional.

  • Jewellery is made to order wherever possible, reducing waste and overproduction

  • Traditional hand-craft techniques are used instead of mass-manufacturing

  • I aim to minimise chemical use and recycle scrap metal within the studio

  • Packaging is kept simple, reusable and recyclable

Every decision from design to delivery is made with sustainability in mind.

Transparency & Trust

As a small business, I value honest communication. If you ever have questions about where a material comes from or how a piece is made, I’m always happy to share.

Ethical practice is an ongoing journey, and I’m continually learning, improving and seeking better ways to work responsibly.

When you choose to support an independent jeweller, you’re choosing craftsmanship, care and conscious design.
Thank you for being part of a more mindful approach to jewellery
